TikTok To Launch New Tools To Reduce AI Content

TikTok is set to launch new tools to build transparency around artificial intelligence.
The tools will include accessibility for users to manage AI-generated content they see in their ‘For You’ feeds.
There will be a control feature under ‘manage topics,’ which already allows users to adjust how often they see content related to over 10 categories.
With the new feature, individuals can control how much or how little AI-generated content they see. The app is also testing “invisible watermarking” to let viewers and creators know if content is AI-generated or using AI-tools.
The move is part of the app’s mission to create awareness around the technology. They also created a $2 million literacy fund for experts to create feed content that teaches users about AI.
